Dr. Quillassio, of the French Navy, in a recent paper on typhoid fever says : "Coffee has given us unhoped lor satisfac tion; after having dispensed with it Wi find, to our great surprise, that its action is as prompt as it is decisive. Dr. Guillassie gives to an adult two or three table spoonsful of strong-black coffee every two hours, alternated with one or two teaspooniful of claret or Burgnndy wine. A little lemon ade or citrate of magnesia should be taken daily, and after a while quinine. The Associa tion owns forty acres of land around the fair grounds, upon which are good springs, and through which run several beautiful brooks. IThe weather will be mild and pleasant and It will be much cbea; er and a great deal pleasanter camp ing out than boarding and sleapiag in hotels. Make up parties of four, six or a dozen; bring a cook along and have' a nice time. Ample accommodations to transport baggage from tbe train to the camping ground will be at the depots up on the arrival of trains. Messengers are employed by the Association to render assistance to visitors. They will be at the depots on the arrival of ail trains, and can be designated by a blue sash, which they will have on. Parties who would like to rent unfurnished' rooms, with or without board, or persons who desire to procure lodging- in advance, cau do so by addressing the Secretary. j Bates of passage will be very low, so that all may have a chance of getting out of the heat and dust and spending a few days pleasantly among the mountains, bills and rocks of Anson county. Persons desiring to go on the Excursion can get on the train at any point on the NE,O&Dor0O Ry, Tuesday the 27th or Wednesday the 28th of July, 1880, and return any day during the week. . . . Board can be obtained at from 76c to $2 per day. There will be ample ac commodation for all.
